I agree that radio could be better for us. With it smashing on streaming, I don't understand why its growth is so slow on radio. But, hey. Slow and steady wins the race. At least the song is consistently growing.

Gaga was somewhere around #98 among top artists before DWAS and now she has reached a new peak at #16

I've been tracking DWAS's streams here in our country since its release date, and I'm shocked to see how it's doing so well now. I hear it playing everywhere I go outside. It's like Shallow and ARUTW had a new sibling. Additionally, one of the biggest variety shows in the Philippines covered DWAS for the first time last night, and I think it will give a big boost in the next few days.

This is a very 2017 take. "Mumble" rap, which is usually just Playboi Carti/-inspired cloud rap, hasn't been popular since 2019 iirc, which is when his last album was. The most popular rap songs this year (the Kendrick and Drake feud) are hardcore hip hop. Megan's songs this year have pop samples and even some rock influences, like Cobra. Million Dollar Baby is a contemporary rnb/rap song with a funky groove to it that I really like. Only a small portion of hip hop can be characterized as mumbling, even the most basic trap songs aren't mumbling
