Happy Mistake OH MY LORD THESE LYRICS… THE CHORUS VOCALS… OK LADY EILISH… this song is beautiful yet heartbreaking given the Bloodpop credit I can absolutely see how this was probably a Chromatica outtake… fits with Fun Tonight and 1000 Doves thematically

Is it true @TheCureInChromatica?

This album will def not have legs :mess: a perfect illusion tease again where The Joker doesn’t represent the sound of the album at all :bradley: I doubt this will be close to The Gifts’ first week sales as well

Production-wise Happy Mistake is very softly accompanied with guitar with ambient sub-sounds throughout the song. It's definitely not as climactic as Always Remember Us This Way but it has a very eerie, strangely tranquil feeling to it.

The first half is soft-singing, the second half elevates to a more chesty vocal arrangement.

Very heartbreaking, her timbre shines the best in this song.
