The interviewer for Vogue confirmed it, rather than Gaga herself, in that piece. But yeah we've known October first single and Feb album for weeks now.

That may just be for the exhibition. There may not be an actual single from this album since DWAS is smashing and LG7's lead is likely 4 weeks away...

I don't think they're going to treat any song as a single, especially knowing that LG7's first single is going to be released in the next few weeks.
