The first joker literally went to like every single fall festival (Venice, TIFF, New York, London) and one could argue that if JFAD isn’t taken to as many fall film festivals that they don’t believe in it as much as the original. now one could also argue that the first one NEEDED those festivals in order to create that buzz and create good work of mouth due to the nature of the movie whereas JFAD doesn’t really need that boost. It’s bound to make a sh!t ton of money. One could also argue that maybe they don’t want as much leaked about the money prior to release and therefore aren’t taking it everywhere.
