The weeknd originally used it to promote an old album, Dawn FM, and then dropped new visuals for his latest single months later

even if we don’t get new music in the upcoming weeks, this is a great way to get Gen Z more interested in her. So maybe they are using this to slowly hype the GP up for new music. 

A new single premiere at the event would be HUGE tho.
