I think it's ridiculous to compare Cowboy Carter with Joanne. Cowboy Carter is by-and-large a country record, and some tracks have pop influences. Joanne, with the exception of Sinner's Praye, is a laid-back pop record with some country and 60s inspirations

If 16 Carriages and Texas Hold Em' are any indication on how the album sounds, Cowboy Carter is not a country album.

16 Carriages is literally a contemporary country ballad, Texas Hold Em has some stomp and holler influences, and those two tracks are not what the 27 track album sounds like as a whole

Both songs are more closely related to the standard stomp-clap alternative music of the early 2010s.

This is contemporary country music, even a contemporary ballad. Neither pre-released song off Cowboy Carter fits there.

The Rolling Stones and Andrew Watt will definitely submit this song in rock categories. It had smash reviews.

There's nothing homophobic about what I said at all. Perhaps I shouldn't have said "most" - I was referring to our love for dance music over more laid-back songs, such as the opnion that you literally gave about Cowboy Carter. And guess what? There's nothing wrong with saying an album with lots of ballads is boring.
