One of my earliest Insta posts called them the New King and Queen of Pop

I'd still argue for Prince and Princess - absolutely iconic artists

I emailed him about Delusional and China and have received no response. Should I pretend to be shocked?

Want to compare digital sales then? :laughga:

Need WCBF to go number one on the charts so that the Taylor stans who hate on Ari can gag hard :bradley:

What was the last time a song was elevated by a video that much? I can recall Iggy's Fancy and Ariana's own TUN. Movie references are always a hit with the GP. Gaga should try this gimmick.

Beautiful peaks, gorgeous peaks but less overall streams and less sales. Got it

Btw if you want to focus solely on Spotify. Cruel Summer already outstreamed so... :billie:

1) Of course, it has fewer sales since it was released when iTunes was no longer a thing.

2) It was an actual hit with the GP instead of being spammed by Swifties.

Sure jan. Convince yourself and perhaps other online hermits that Cruel Summer and Blank Space aren't GP hits

Also Emma stone didn’t go to any acting school and whatsoever but could get 2 Oscars for acting.

I think part of her wins are also her likability not withstanding her great performances so maybe ga should learn to tone down the PR for the joker film where she doesn’t need to say where she learnt acting from and how she want to be a serious actress or how she stayed in an accent for 6 months nonsense

If the movie is flawless, none of this matters. Both the movies Emma won for were critically acclaimed masterpieces. Also, she started studying theatre as a child and made her acting debut at 11.

But did the “elevation” really come from the music video?

It barely has 13M views after 3 days…

Ohhh Spotify autoplay we LUV you!

That’s interesting I think her performance on SNL also contributed to the rise in streams. But many seemed to turn around to liking the song after watching the video as well

Oh even if the movie is flawless I’ll like her to clamp it if it veers towards pretentiousness because third times the charm and she needs to get the nom at least
