This is just more proof releases in our time should go fast in a short period : single release then album in the next month. Not waiting ages losing momentum. That's basically what Ariana and Beyoncé are doing with dropping a song close to their album release.

Dua Lipa is also trully losing all the hype for her album as well. She should have released it close to her Grammy performance in February at the latest.

No shade at all but let's stop considering Gaga as an experimental gal who still makes stuff that are out of the box and shaking all the industry. She did this in the first years of her career but Joanne, ASIB and HMH are pretty tamed in production and lyrics and The Cure and Chromatica are the definition of basic and easy production. Not a criticism at all as not everything needs to be experimental and over the top.

Max Martin is a producer that has an incredible longevity, probably the longest in the producing game. Mainly because he knows very much how to fit to any artist he's working with.

I’m really enjoying eternal sunshine, I enjoyed yes, and? upon release as well but it fizzled out quickly so I thought the album would have followed same route but it surprised me because it’s really cute and chill to listen to. 

Ariana delivered with the we can’t be friends MV, I’m here for the song to smash and hopefully supernatural gets a single treatment as well.
