If Swift's directorial music video efforts are anything to go by not sure why Taylor thought it was a good idea to write a movie. Also the film industry will be dying to pan her (yet again ). I feel like they probably clock this as her wanting to add another line to her resumé, much like Beyoncé and Madonna, other performers who are unable to break out of their perfectly controled image as a popstar, and therefore succeed in the movie industry. We don't appreciate Gaga enough for being respected and acclaimed in both industries. I am beyond hyped for what J:FAD will do to her career.

Well TFM was barely sold physically, it's not that different than Taylor adding 200 songs to an album after it's out. Also did that without a billion variations.
