Promo campaigns are kinda dead. The song just has to connect or get payola.

True, but let's be honest she was taking the 'era' side of her music far more seriously and putting it into  the next level for artistic matter. Which is not really the case anymore, let's be objective. And that's exactly what he is pointing imo. Not the fact she won't make LG7 + Joker at the same time.

That said I'm personnaly fine with her just dropping and letting music talk. I kinda accepted the fact next albums will all be all very short eras à la Chromatica with her pushing two singles, two videos, dropping album and forgetting it for months until the tour is starting.
