Katy currently sits at #64 on spotify daily artists. The gap is not huge, but Gaga is consistently doing better than her, though Katy is also doing good.

Every pop girl is having a major surge on Spotify, not just Gaga. The #10 most streamed female is doing 18m daily, Gaga is at 12m. To put it into perspective, even if Gaga's entire top 10 was pulling 1m+ she still wouldn't be in the top 10.

It is a lot more difficult now to get into top 10 most streamed female artists because female artists are a lot more streamed than a couple years ago, that is true. But that's a good thing for Gaga: to give an example, it's better to be #25 overall and not top 10 female artists, than #40 overall and top 10 female artists.

This is not true, I believe this is the first time since Anti was released that Rihanna has 6 songs above 1m, she usually has 2 or 3.

This is not true, I believe this is the first time since Anti was released that Rihanna has 6 songs above 1m, she usually has 2 or 3. 

that doesnt really matter shes been stable on that 20m+ mark ever sincer her supwerbowl

Gaga is doing GREAT. Nobody is "downplaying" her streaming numbers, I'm just being rational, as always and guess what, you guys are attacking me.....as always,God forbid someone says something remotely negative in this thread!

Yes all pop girls are experiencing increase in streams, but increament for all girls is not equal.

Likke Gaga is getting more streams than Beyonce, Shakira and Adele, a month ago they were getting more streams. It doesn't mean their discography haven't seen spike, it simply means Gaga spike in streams have been more impressive which is what we celebrate here.

Nah she increased too in the last days. Rihanna was pulling 17-18M 2 months ago.
