imo Dua benefited from pandemic and lack of female pop era at that time.

Gaga compleately giving up on her era helped in dua’s case as well.

Future nostalgia would go without any notice in a crowded years like 2018-2019

Future Nostalgia started before lockdown and was already slaying

Let's stop disminish other's success just because our fave and her useless and incompetent manager totally failed giving a strong content during pandemics while focusing on some make-up shits and Oreo deals.

You’ve admitted you have no hype for new Gaga music, bragged you didn’t give her discog any streams last year, and yet, you’re here constantly replying to the tamest criticisms of Dua  and Nicki with comments like LMs are “in for a reality check” when LG7 debuts with poor streams, etc. If other acts have become so fulfilling for you, why don’t you sign up and post on their forums instead of policing Gaga’s fan base- 1 you’re not even actively participating in?

It’s so annoying and disrespectful to label other people’s perfectly reasonable opinions / tastes as “diminishing others success” and “putting women against women” to shut them up. Not to mention you JUST posted the other day that Doja Cat is the new “Katy Perry” because her album streams are supposedly weaker than Dua (as if Dua has “album cuts” - 90% of her “albums” are singles ffs), so it’s laughably hypocritical.

Regardless, people are entitled to their opinions, even if they are as terrible as you thinking Dance The Night is an Oscar-worthy song.

In all honesty, the big disrespect is actually reading some sh!t like 'X or X had success during pandemic just because they benefited Gaga being on break'. Like seriouly, in which world are you living :katy: it's a big middle finger to those artists who were still working their a** off during the pandemic, a very hard time, trying to entertain people. I'm not even blaming Gaga she did what she felt right and that's totally right. She made her voice for BLM and that event for Covid. That's respectful. But those Gaga stans really need to take a bit more of distance and seeing the full picture.

And no Dua Lipa doesn't owe her success during Future Nostalgia just because Gaga decided to let down on Chromatica. She owes her success because she worked for it.

HML has OFFICIALLY surpassed GH’s peak on Spotify after it became viral! YAAAASSSSS!

Gp would easily eat a dark pop goth era from her but gaga is not ready for that discussion
