Obviously I'm not counting the song out, payola will eventually doing its usual work, but for now I'm ejoying to see the Dua Lipa stans on ATRL that for the majority are success stans (and former Katy Perry ones) who hidden behind her during 2020 in order to attack 'Chromatica', now being in shambles because the song keep falling.

NRO (2019) did well in select parts of Asia.
ARUTW (2019)  smashed hard in parts of Eastern Europe, and then her viral track Bloody Mary did its best there (Europe as we know have Gaga’s biggest base).
So I don’t agree it’s all, it’s a consistent pattern based on their appeal in both terms of global and the ages - Gaga’s smash YT numbers are helped by Asia.

I don't care. Chromatica sold way more and was acclaimed, random streams from India won't rewrite history and won't make Smile anything close to a success, we all know how quickly it plummeted down the charts at the time.

Who cares about them, or any stan people on the internet. Dua Lipa is always doing good on GP and any target consumers with radios and playlisting giving her spotlight. That's how it work in 2020s. Houdini will just work as good as DSN, mainly because her smart team will make it happen. 

I'm not asking that level for Gaga but her team is just giving up on anything that has good potential (Pushing ARUTW as a global single, Sour Candy, Bloody Mary, HMH not even getting good release schedule, and so on) which just cringeworthy as hell. Bloody Mary just proved even more how much her management team work level is on the floor.

I didn't question that, in fact properly to avoid this kind of reply I started my post with saying 'I'm not counting the song out', but I guess it was for nothing.

We both are on 2 boards interacting with online stans so of course I'm gonna comment on people behaviour which was the point of my post, otherwise I wouldn't have an account on these kind of boards.

Not sure why briging Gaga, I don't disagree with her team currently being a mess, but Dua Lipa label push machine won't last for eternity either, it will arrive the moment also for her in which the label won't give to her a certain treatment, Gaga proved that despite a bad team with consequent bad decisions she can still stay afloat in a way or another, not sure if that will be the case with Dua Lipa.

This. I have no idea why Dua stans think she’ll keep getting this push even when she’s older. They count on the “slow burn” path so much that her songs flopping for weeks or even months doesn’t matter.
