second wave of virality peaked

now we need a third wave... the edits and posts HML is attached too are still too niche for it to truly break out of the bubble it's in right now

The chromatica daily numbers are embarassing there is not much we can do about it but its a shame

just when you think Chromatica's daily streams can't get any worse, they do :rip:

but Lana was also flopping with her recent albums before this pre-Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard renaissance, so anything is possible

Lana's case is pretry comparable to us in the sense there's a few albums carrying her streaming figures (inb4 BTD = TFM, BTW =UV and ASIB=NFR) while the newer releases aren't even top3 in daily streams from her discography

and she's still massively relevant despite that

next era Gaga needs to focus on quality and delivering a great body of work first and foremost imo it's impossible to compete with some of her past records in terms of hits and copies shifted imo

yes but the thing about Lana is that she is following streaming format.

Taylor/Lana/Ariana (up until now) kept releasing music after music. Keep releasing music helps a lot in streaming era.

Most importantly, Lanas music sounds current now for most young consumers. She popularized the modern way of slow singing.

Gaga meanwhile has seen more as an act for millennials and olds thanks to Joanne, ASIB and HMH. Bloody Mary started to change that attitude a bit but it needs more work from her.

there is no word at this tragedy

Rain On Me alone should be doing those numbers lmao.

I think if Sour Candy MV existed the album would have been saved
