German album charts

#68 (-31) The Fame 189 weeks

The anniversary boost is officially dead, because now we're on the same level as we were in July. The Fame is now the 26th longest charting album in Germany. Next victim is Thriller with 190 weeks. Still the 6th longest charting album by a female artist. Next victim there is Back To Black with 204 weeks.

I do wonder if one day she could pull out another artist defining album? Rih has ANTI, Katy TD, Gaga TFM. In Gaga and Katy’s case it’s the fact they’re basically a greatest hits album it lends itself to streaming era.
BTW has a good chance to be there eventually if momentum picks up and TEOG finally gets it’s due

ASIB is practically that second defining album, considering it's her second longest charting album practically everywhere. ASIB outcharted BTW by nearly 20 weeks in Germany and more than 40 weeks in the US.

I basically meant another one that could chart forever, like a catalogue album. ASIB almost did this but it rested solely on Shallow. Only 108 weeks in BB200 for 20 weeks top 10. A reissue like TF had could’ve capitalised on it, i couldn’t see other artists having an era like ASIB and their label not milking it
