ReadyGaga Popster to Popster 2,856 Posted September 5, 2023 Share Posted September 5, 2023 On 9/5/2023 at 3:54 PM, ItsGenuineGuy09 said: So what you're saying is she has made minimal noise since up and jealousy was a gift for fans There is a lot riding on this new release for cardi moving forward, seeing as we have had no word for this album it adds to the narrative, she had other singles out that made 0 noise and she returned to hibernation its almost like artists are just scoring flukes these days lol I have a somewhat controversial theory which at times might seem conspiracy theorist: artists like Meghan Trainir , Post Malone, Charlie Puth, Sam Smith, Bebe Rexa, Ellie Goulding ,Calvin Harris and to a certain extent also Miley (obviously she cannot be compared with them, she is much bigger and more relevant) they get pushes from their labels for a single track but not being very profitable they stop being supported in the long run, by doing so they will always have a viral and popular track that does well in the charts but never a real blockbuster era , so the labels clean up their images of flop artists and they have a little revival. This theory came to my mind because if you pay attention, tracks like made you look, miracle, unholy and i'm good debut very low but become instantly popular on tiktok/Instagram, then get spammed in playlists and eventually get big peaks on pop radio. All these songs have almost the same graphic tendency that gives longevity and smooth streams without having a super defined peak (like Anti Hero, Kill Bill, Last Night, Fast Car and FLOWERS).
