It got a second wind on Pop radio, #19 peak in May is great considering the song was released 8 months prior to that. But the surprising thing it might be the only song that sold x10 platinum in the US without a Pop radio Top10 peak. Which is crazy impressive. The Oscars gave it such a big sales and streaming revival so radio had no choice but to spin it again. Do you realise that doesn't happen a lot of times? Its a miracle it managed to climb all the way up to #19 after being dropped. It simply didnt make any sense to keep spinning it in June or July when some of those stations started spinning it in October of the year prior This was a very rate ocassion when radio changed their mind. In the end it was a big radio hit, peak doesn't mean much in Shallow's case. If you were here, tracking it daily you would know what I'm talking about.
