This songs on the radio things made me think about that. I heard:

Applause - A lot

DWUW - Even more

GUY - Not a single time

TIHTY - Never as expected

Perfect Illusion - Only on release day and never again nnnnn

Million Reason - A lot, but they started playing it very late

The Cure - Just a couple times

(didn't include the pre-ARTPOP or POST-ASIB singles because I heard them all a lot of time (except for 911))

Does anyone know, roughly from gagas posts, when she started recording Chromatica and when she finished? What was the time frame there?

From what I remember, it roughly 'started' sometime in 2018 with it being finalized second half of 2019 into 2020. I could be wrong though. There's this tweet which adds some context I guess:

If I’m not mistaken, I think she started working on it in 2017/18 with Bloodpop while on tour with the JWT. I feel like there’s an interview with either him or her talking about starting work on Chromatica during the tour. They might’ve discussed a song that was made during JWT too? I have vague memories of the interview.

Yeah, it was about SL I believe. The majority of Chromatica was recorded in the second half of 2019 with some songs being finished in early 2020 and some made from scratch in 2020 (Love Me Right).

Yeah, it’s crazy how many different music projects she worked on from late 2016 through 2018. The ASIB soundtrack, early work on Chromatica, recording sessions for Love for Sale, and other sessions from which we got The Cure, Joanne piano version, etc.

I actually still stand by liking the demo directions more for FW and ROM - they sounded more like Rena like they'd carry on through like in a club?.

I dont think thats anyhting to do with DJWS - he was more TC/ASIB pop songs. Sounds like we got a good thing cause they sounded really basic and floppy(heal me and TC are cute) :billie:. Even i dont know what adele is STOMPS on all of them.

FW demo is by far my favourite Gaga demo ever. For what it’s worth, I wish BP&Gaga would not allow Klahr to change the song into what was released.

I also like ROM’s demo for what it was - heavily influenced by 90’s house music, although I think they were just playing with the song a lot until they found the direction. LGN Discord claimed that there were around 10 different versions of ROM.
