It's a dream send off for a legend, most die before getting their victory lap or leave it too late and are abysmal live acts by the time they try it. It's sad stan culture has poisoned the common public's mind like this (including monsters). It's embarrassing to feel like it's a flex that a billionaire or near billionaire is making even more money just because they're your fave. Stans will defend exploitative practices (including by Ticketmaster with their platinum pricing). The flex is cheap but costs a lot. I get it, at least artists work hard unlike investment billionaires but let's not act like it's a big deal or that it makes one better than the other.
