Let's take a break so people can come down and chill. The easiest way to stop someone who is annoying you or attacking you is to ignore them and report them.  Honestly, the ignoring them is the best approach because then things don't spiral and piss everyone off. Also, we're all catty by nature to be on a site like this, but again, you do not have to drag other artists to prove a point.  Stream Flowers and do some yoga.

It was definitely eligible, I mean she was delusional for trying to get an Oscar over it, but she's not that dumb to pay a whole campaign for something not eligible, it's the first thing she has informed herself for sure, we know how much calculated she is in everything she does.

 "To be eligible for award consideration for the 95th Awards year, a short film must fulfill one of the 
following qualifying criteria between October 1, 2021, and September 30, 2022" 

 

I just wonder why Ms Swift submited her 'film' for the biggest award in Hollywood if the trophy 'doesn't mean anything' :ew:

Gaga wins for 'Shallow' is still fresh on people mind giving how much the song is still present and played, Rihanna is just the alternative they were trying to find to HMH and it came out later in the race, but yeah it's definitely the worse song.

As of now Top Gun is the biggest movie in best song competition, HMH is biggest song (overall sales wise, not peaks) and will probably stay that way till nominations at least. Gaga is a past winner (and 2 times nominee) of the category. The acclaim for song and the movie is really good. It's looking quite optimistic for Ms Hand :prideheart:

Honestly RIhanna being recipient for an Oscar for songwriting when she notoriously uses writing camps it's kind of absurd, it's gonna make lose value to that award, she would be the third big popstar to win it in the last years, already the Billie win made lose exclusivity at that award since it was just her first attempt in doing a soundtrack song, if even Rihanna is gonna win it, well.

But this one matters cause she won it. The ones she can't have don't matter obviously, wbk :lesson:

And Gaga's Oscar also doesn't mean anything cause it's not a good look for a singer turned actress to win for her music etc etc :cry:
