Let's take a break so people can come down and chill. The easiest way to stop someone who is annoying you or attacking you is to ignore them and report them.  Honestly, the ignoring them is the best approach because then things don't spiral and piss everyone off. Also, we're all catty by nature to be on a site like this, but again, you do not have to drag other artists to prove a point.  Stream Flowers and do some yoga.

The way we were counting on HMH to gain streams because of

  • Paramount+ release
  • winter favoring ballads
  • upcoming awards circuit

Only to be cleared by Bloody Mary

I love the song, I still do. But I think it's undeniably on its way to being forgagatten just like the Cure (which I also love). Especially if it doesn't pick up any significant awards in 2023.

Wow Gaga’s back catalogue becoming a steaming force :giveup:

Gaga’s back catalogue is truly starting to establish itself with a strong streaming foundation. Here for these streaming numbers to stabilize. :pray:

The new generation/new listeners are discovering her as well, and connecting with her music. People are also rediscovering her as well thanks to TikTok. :cm:

Also not to bring this back up, but Chromatica did decently well all things considered. The lead single leaking, promo getting derailed by COVID starting, things getting canceled, Gaga moving her focus to pandemic stuff etc. I remember the album got released, and then the George Floyd tragedy happened days later and all Chromatica promo and mentions from Gaga basically stopped altogether. I think it had the potential to do so much better, but I also understand why things went the way they did, and have made peace with it.

Ehh at the very end of the day it will be Gaga’s 3rd Oscar nominated song, no pop girlie can even come close to saying that. But yeah of course we were all expecting more.

Even in a scenario with an Oscar performance and win the song won't have a significative resurgence at this point, it's just not the kind of song that works on today music climate with TikTok setting the trends for majority, it's a struggling-dramatic ballad that worked for its purpose on being used as end credit song for that kind of movie, but that's all.

It's truly not easy making a ballad smash these days.

It's not true, 'Shallow' had immediately a great reception the moment the trailer dropped from majority of people, this was never going to have the same faith, different songs and use on the movie as well.

If by everyone you mean the majority, then yes. I also don’t think they hated it, maybe disliked would be a better word? Idk. Either way, I remember the ones that didn’t like it, sure but I also remember people liking or loving it from the get go, including me. I didn’t really care about its charts success, I just loved it from the very beginning.
