The first one was lighting in a bottle and Joaquin winning it was the first and only time anyone's ever won lead from a comic book movie.  Maybe, if they can sneak her into Supporting somehow, but still unlikely. I hope we can all just experience the movie and have fun for what it is. Not everything has to be about awards. 

J2 will do wonders for her box office total tho. 

I mean we don't know how Joker 2 might end up, could be great aswell who knows. But I don't have this scenario in my head that Gaga needs to win the Oscar for it, like the movie is probably going to be a hit and if Gaga ends up having another great performance then imagine the praise that she will get, that alone will be a huge win for her career, so It's not really all about the awards.
