I cant recall computing for RMSE or somethng.. is that another name for standard deviation cause i can partially remember SD having to do with sqr root of mean-data squared or something

Similar formula but not quite the same thing. 

RMSE measures how far predicted values are from actual values. SD how the spread of a data (around the mean).
