Looks like Carolina won that Hollywood Music in Media award but they have such a bad track record of predicting Oscar winners so nothing to worry about. @MANiCURE1295 @Lazz Monster

Correction: “Lift me up” won not Carolina. Also, the song from Pinocchio defeated Billie Eillish in the animated category.

what was their success rate? @BenG

I think the globe for LMU is also on lock, they're journalists and they like to propel the MPGs

The success rate is 3/8. Only City of Stars, Shallow and No time to die have won an Oscar after winning this award.

Black Panther had 9 noms today too.

This time it feels a lot more open, whereas shallow had become one of the biggest streaming hits and the most acclaimed song that year. I think Oscar experts say that it’s bad for her to win this so soon when she’s chasing the actress award - so who knows. Hopefully It won’t hurt her Joker 2 chances win or lose.

Our fanbase is more selective about what she's giving nowadays, fans supported anything she gave from Chromatica while telling her to keep 'Love For Sale' and HMH's debut was pretty weak judging how big her fanbase can be.

Fans are very important, the GP is never a safe bet anyway. Fans will prevent her to have a total tank in sales, streams and charts overall.

We need the fan base for her debuts and the gp for longevity.

Gp? Lmao 30 is rotting in the bottom 50 of billboard, it was just frontloaded

and grammys think 1989 was better than tpab & 25 was better than Lemonade

they are not right most of the time

And even a decade from now Renaissance won't have reached Adele's 30 sales :billie:

TPAB > 1989 when it comes to body of work, but 1989 won AOTY for being an impactful work in pop music with an impeccable rollout and we all know that the Grammys don't always award just quality

Also, 25 > Lemonade.

A Star Is Born - 4.121.558.953 (+1.824.104) *only Gaga´s songs (Tuesday)

Stop listening to haters' nonsense and post the entire album update, there's no such thing as "only Gaga's songs" because the entire album also belongs to her.

US is the biggest music market in the world, nobody cares about 20 sales & #1 from Estonia

Nobody is talking about Estonia though. Renaissance is falling harder than a rock in UK, Germany, France which are the other three major music markets. As for Japan (the 2nd biggest music market), Renaissance has barely crossed 5k sales :billie:
