Exactly. ARTPOP, the album was def not the reason for her to take a break in recording dance music. The era was a disaster; but the album no. She clearly loves it and loves ALL of her albums. But it was Joanne that got her into depression and chain smoking on that porch. It was Joanne that made her realize she won’t fix her dad and drove her into thinking she should stop recording music period. Remember the 911/VMA’s Chromatica promo interview on some us tv? She basically said she hated the piano in her studio. Again, not the album, but the experience. It would be nice for us all to recognize the facts as they are and not be picky about it just to be sure that it fits our forced upon others narration.
