Also a platinum certification is so easy to get today in the streaming era so it is not the same « type of hit » from the digital era

this is why in my opinion a platinum song in the streaming era is far from being a « real » hit 
 

I mean for example I like Dua but we have to admit that We’re Good or Love Again certified Platinum in Australia are far from being justified as hits

Dance-pop is loved by curators on Spotify cause it fits into things well. Even Katy's WIG had 150m playlisting. as Spotify is growing too the  playlist reach is bigger - 200m in 2020 was the highest playlist reach for a female song irrc.

Yeah while the fame + btw ressurgence is great and (most importantly for us) very fun to track it makes her look even more like a fad 

Thank GodGa we will always have ASIB songs so it wont be a Kesha tea where 4/5 songs in her top are from her debut era
