No Dua Lipa album in 2023 via Blackoutzone. Interesting (and sad).

Praying for the humanity then

our ears will suffer from the lack of new Dua’s music

The whole solo excuse (that they use on Shallow especially) is incredibily stupid, It's a song that she wrote, produced and let's be honest she's the reason why it became a massive hit with her style of singing in that song. It's like they expect her song to be deleted from history if they scream "IT'S NOT SOLO!!" reality just doesn't work like that and they act like the ASIB era gave them a trauma or something :icant:

Not to mention stans who use that forget their faves also relied heavily on collabs

Rih had collabs with Eminem and she will lose the only diamond cert she has if we exclude it. Majority of her grammy wins were also from collabs

Bey jumped on last minute version remixes for fraudulent #1s before Ren

Katy had Snoop Dogg and Kanye West collabs, and she will lose one of her highest streamed songs on Spotify (Feels) if we exclude it

:excuseme:

also let's not forget t-person's most stream song is also a collab with zayn and most of its success relies on the latter's european smashery-something t-person has never had

And even that charted for almost the same time as ROM on BB100 despite being much bigger on radio.

I think in 2016 Gaga on Spotify wasn’t too far off  Britney and Xtina who’d debuted a decade before her. I can see why for her first full stufio pop era pivoting back to a genre after building up a sound with MR/ASIB they brought on support; and they still made the lead solo

Maybe with LG7 timing will be different again (similar to Beyoncé waiting after FN/Chromatica/Drake) and they’ll make a point of two solo singles that not only have decent peaks but good chartruns
