Just look at what happened with Top Gun. It is definitely Oscar bait but they pushed it for like 2 years after the original date. And it smashed and it is still one of favorite contenders for next award ceremonies season. As long as the movie worth it I don't think the release date is that important. Yes but the interpretation is typically for the listener to decide. It’s not fed from the song itself. Unless you’re talking about the performer’s delivery based on their own interpretation.
