Tbh we haven't heard either of those albums so we cannot claim truly who deserves. But if Arctic Monkeys give us an album as good as AM then they fully deserve it. If it is more of a Tranquility Base Hotel vibes then...

Off topic - I really never got the chance to ask a German citizen about it - do German people feel some kind of guilt or shame about Adolf * and his actions towards for example Poland? How do they teach you those things in school?

German "Erinnerungskultur" is the exception, not the rule though.

A bit more information:

In Germany, there is a so-called "Erinnerungskultur" or "remembrance culture" around WW II. The point being to remember the bad things about that era and how it started. That's why "never again" or "Nie wieder" is the most important headline for this remembrance culture.
