If you want to talk seriously, 99% of the discussions we have both here but also in the stan world in general are either nonsense, non-applicable or directly subjective, but here we are bestie :excuseme:

Unnonsense then :whatga:

Gaga's US stats are truly trash compared to her achievements in other markets

Yeah this is why Gaga lack of longevity in her career if we remove ASIB and TF/TFM

she chose with BTW/AP and Chromatica to “pleased” a certain community in general (the gays) and not the GP like a lot of her peers

Also what happens if she keeps releasing 1 proper single per era. It's like triple whammy for her because single sales and streams drive album equivalent, momentum, GP recognition and familiarity of an album.

@Gagacharts Father's day no?

Again it shows how amazing her team was to choose these two songs as lead singles :katy_pie:

The sad part is, they sat on SL for 2 years because they were sure it was a hit.

I love SL, just not as the lead....

I've always found Gaga’s success extremely... weird? Because while she's legendary already and her achievements are well known, her name never seems to be up there when it comes to the longevity of her peers, even Katy, who is basically not even half as relevant as she used to, do streaming numbers similar to ours which is sad :gaga-scream: Also, I've noticed Gaga has never really been a GP darling, she just happens to have a few "viral" cultural moments but when those are over the GP moves on a quickness. It's weird.

They messed up by giving Bradley Cooper a lead credit on ASIB album.

She would have been higher than Rihanna and also made it to top 10 of 2010s top artists, if Bradley credit was downgraded to feature. 70% of ASIB soundtrack is Gaga.

Well during her peak she didn't have just a few viral culture moments. She was the pop culture. For 3 years straight she was everywhere. Her music was playing everywhere, she was talked all the time on the news, she was talked by the GP ,her music videos were events and etc.

But yeah recently it's been like this. But still during ASIB she was still everywhere. Then with Chromatica,we had covid so she didn't promote and she didn't release something big since then to create a big hype. Unfortunately it's kinda true that from 2013-2022 if you exclude ASIB era, she doesn't have longevity but it's ok ,she can't be massive and on her peak forever. But she deserves a bit better longevity:/

Streaming just ain't everything too bc if we talk about who's gonna sell a lot more tickets between Gaga and Katy, Gaga is gonna win by far without any questions. Gaga just came to the streaming party later, she just doesn't follow the trends and beside this she releases a lot less singles. Gaga overall has kind of always did her own thing when it comes to music, if it sticks to the GP, it sticks, if not then she moves on. This is just my take on it.
