I think what might give us the edge with Best Pop Vocal album above Dua is that Chromatica was more heartfealt/had some sort of uplifting message. FN is great but lyrically it's just like every other pop album, there's no identity to Dua's artistry in that sense, but let's see. One win for Gaga is already great given how C was paid dust.

Taylor went through her third reinvention on her career, wrote her best lyrics ever and did this all while in quarantine.

I don't know how involved Dua is in the creative process but I still see her as someone who is just paid to sing the tracks and look good (and disinterested) while doing it. Maybe I'm wrong about this but I don't buy the Dua brand at all.

I highly dislike Dua actually, but I don't trash talk her. She is pulling the sales and getting the fans their life, so work.

Taylor too is far from perfect, but Folklore was that girl. It's so freaking good, and it did very well. Those storyline, whew.
