I remember her tweet hyping the song on New Years and I was counting down the days I woke up at 3am to listen to this song on the radio. I remember playing the whole all day while on school and just crying my heart out once I got home. Finally hearing a song that felt like it was for me. Thank you Gaga for helping a closeted little gay like myself feel important and loved by the mainstream….thank you for helping me come to terms with who I was and accepting myself. Truly under spoken in this fandom how iconic and groundbreaking this song truly is and continues to be. f-ing love you Gaga, you deserve all the success and more that will come!
