Yeah I think she can really benefit from a more acoustic or experimental sound with rock elements. Something a la Red & Blue but more mature and more polished-production wise. Both the GP and Monsters love HAC Gaga, and I think she herself feels much better doing something less formulated unlike pop or dance pop so it's a win win. And thats why sl debuted top10 and had big opening numbers, but it didnt change much in the long run. Anyway I don't understand the point of going back and forth on this topic yes both performed similarly in the us but under extremely different circumstances in all aspects (promo level, hype from the previous project, the f-ing pandemic,... Even the shift in consumption from digital sales to streaming).
