Hmmm I feel like it could have either gone both ways. On the one hand, logic says that a bigger feature artist would have brought more attention to the song on its first weeks after release. But in the long run, I feel like the biggest EDM classics tend to have no-name vocalist featured: Wake Me Up and basically every other Avicii hit, Don't You Worry Child, Bangarang, Firestone etc. And the few cases where an A-lister feature on an EDM turned into a classic (Let Me Love You and It Ain't Me), where songs with DJs that were already big names.
