It sucks radio listeners were tired of Katy pre-Smile era. Never Really Over debuted with absolutely horrific callouts which helped kill the songs airplay numbers. Harleys in Hawaii didnt even get much of a streaming or radio push. Daisies got some cute radio support, especially on Hot AC radio stations, but radio hasn't really touched a single from her since. Edit: Also, I think Daisies was the wrong choice for a "Katy comeback". I'm not saying Smile is filled with potential smashes, but did they really think "daisies, daises, DAISES!!!" was gonna connect with listener?
