I just realized that most Anglophones don't realize that in Spanish, the name Perez Hilton sounds even more like Paris Hilton than he intended to 

At least in Latin American Spanish, it's PEH-rez, not puh-REZ like English speakers say. Can @Andreu confirm if this holds true in España as well?

yeah, it's pronounced Péh-reth (in spain mostly) or péh-res (in latin america), but definitely never with the second syllab as the strong one.
