the only half reasonably explaination is that the chromamix (and/or the top gun song) are coming before the deadline. Or maybe they think they can get a song nominated this year andone the next one, but this sounds like a huge stretch to me.

I mean..it has GOOD chances of winning the Grammy for BTPV Album whenever it’s in the category but still…the album is literally going to be so f-ing old by the 2023 GRAMMYs…I really hope they don’t f- this up….:mess: can’t believe they’re releasing 10/1/21….

not to mention I really want Tony to be alive for the award win wtf I’m angry right now and idk why ….:bradley:

Best traditional pop album is literally on lock. That category has zero competition and there’s no chance they aren’t going to award Tony Bennett’s last album. Be it this year or next.

No I know but still…I just want Tony to be able to..idk be there for the moment or something idk, I know he already sick and probably won’t be around much for album promo but still :bradley: I’ll be devastated if Gaga accepts that award by herself

They must have some specific ideas if they're going to release the exact day after the Grammy deadline

Tbh the only thing that comes to my mind is that by 2023 (if things sadly would get worse) they think they might stand some chances for AOTY? Idk

I can’t help but imagine if Gaga has to accept it by herself and she performs a tribute for Tony and sobs at the end. A real life I’ll never love again moment :bradley:

The category is never televised anyways but yes it’d be so dumb to release it a day after the deadline, we want Tony to enjoy his Grammy and have bragging rights with our 2 Grammys next year  (911 Best MV and L4S BTPVA) :nicki_scream:

what if they are releasing that week because based on the logic of "who wants to release it just after the grammy deadline? no one" they think it'll be the easiest way to go #1?
