If TF(M) era wasn't one of the biggest eras of all time and the rest of her career would stay the same, would that make her career bigger overall? Obviously not. Also her career hasnt followed a downard spiral like Katy post TD, in which every project has done clearly worse than the previous one. ASIB of course did better and you can argue Chromatica did better than Artpop or Joanne, or at least on par.
