Rerecording songs is not cheap and Little Monsters have shown that there is interest for Artpop and miss Gaga is one of the few artists who still has pure sales so it would probably be more financially lucrative than just a digital release. Gaga during the entire era up until the blackout after The Voice served look after look after look after look. Every time she stepped outside. Some were disastrous, but some were absolutely magnificent. We've never gotten anything like that since.
