well for Chromatica's defense ASIB is one of the biggest eras of the decade in the country so

Why is radios loving this song so much when they paid ROM dust :shark:

Ageism towards Gaga and dance-pop not being trendy enough in the US.

Pop radio is a sailed boat for us. Gaga's solo singles going the SL trajectory there (good updates and almost reaching the Top 10 before callouts came) would be the best we could aim at.

yeah sadly Gaga is over on the US radios and it sucks cause it will affect a lot her future charts performances on the Hot 100 :crying:

Shallow went #10 on overall radio mainly thanks to HAC and AC (since it only peaked at #19 on Pop) so I still have chances for future ballads to do well on overall radio.

But with pop/dance-pop singles yeah, I can't see her doing any better than what SL and ROM did on Pop radio (and that would be already a success).

Who knows what would happen if she'd go the R&B/hip-hop route with an album sooner or later...

Unless she's booking big collabs on her future albums, which quite worked good on Chromatica. I feel like big mainstream collabs will be inevitable as of now.

ASIB was a special event for a movie, which also had a big boost thanks to anything linked to her relationship with Bradley Cooper, the success of the movie and so on.

Her last big mainstream era as a solo artist is still BTW era and still the GP was starting to leave.

Honestly don't have big charts expectations for CTC 2.0.  ThoughI'm sure LG7 will do great for a female being 13-15 years in her career.

I could see her doing great with some sountracks songs in the future.

Taylor, Katy, Beyoncé, Gaga, Madonna couldn't get a radio hit in the US once they hit their 30s (40s for Madonna), it's a common thing sadly

Madonna music was huge and she was 40

Taylor has amazing radio support but her single are just tragic

Beyonce doesn't male pop music

Katy has more support than gaga when you think about how she flops

Britney spears had femme Fatale with 3 radio hits

Kylie Minogue biggest era is fever when she was 35

Where ? Katy's power is fading eras after eras while promoting harder and harder. Her last album is a total non event, nobody was asking for it (even her fanbase weren't going hard on helping her music to live :enigma:)

You are all being dramatic, Gaga's has given the very minimum on Chromatica as promo while the demand was actually strong. SL did very fine for a EDM Gaga song. ROM is a big hit for her. She's doing very fine.

Honestly in 2013 nobody would have predicted Gaga would be doing those strong numbers and Katy would be just flopping.

Just lower your expectations, Gaga will never do Taylor Swift numbers. And she won't do the same numbers as hot debuting artists, which is totally normal.

We're talking about radio support as in longevity

The last time Madonna had a proper US radio hit in the US was with Music after she just turned 40, American Life was paid dust and despite Hung Up being one of the biggest songs of the last decade WW it flopped in the US because radio didn't play it

Taylor's singles since Reputation are extremely frontloaded on radio, her team manages to get a huge deal then they drop like a rock because there's no support

There's not only pop radio, plus many songs Bey has released as a single the last decade are pop

Katy hasn't had a radio hit since Dark Horse

Britney was 29 during Femme Fatale and right after that her career went downhill

Kylie was an exception as it was her only big hit in the US, all the other examples were women who were massively supported by radio with earlier hits and at some point it just stopped
