Compare that to chromatica who had 0 performances, 2 singles prior to release (1 who was already dead) and 1 song that got pushed for release day ( no mv/lyric video, no radio, only playlisting). I can understand the silence for those first two weeks, but beyond that more could've been done to capitalise it. It dropped like a rock that first week. Had the movement never happened I think it'd have had a much better launch altho seeing how we got nothing anyway maybe they'd have done little else regardless. I think with no covid original run we'd have got a lot more to carry the momentum - like what we see with positions album. It was certainly possible to do since they managed to do a great video for ice cream and gaga herself did 911 just a bit later.
